Based in Suffolk, our dynamic team offers pragmatic and cost-effective solutions with high-quality results. CEO - Founder

Toby Abrehart FLS MCIEEM

Toby established Abrehart Ecology Ltd. in 2016 and has over 26 years’ experience working across the UK. He’s best known as a specialist in terrestrial and aquatic molluscs and aquatic invertebrates, advising  on mitigation, translocations and long term studies especially on Vertigo molluscs

 and innovative research and translocations on the Little Whirlpool Ram's-horn Snail (Anisus vorticulus). In addition, he is a skilled bird surveyor, small mammal specialist, and botanist (FISC Level 5). He contributes a pragmatic, pragmatic approach and a keen eye for detail to projects that strike a balance between development and conservation.

Holds - Roman Snail and Little Whirlpool Ramshorn Snail licences.

Director & Project Coordinator

Lindsey Jennings

Lindsey is one of the main point of contacts for our clients providing them with fee proposals and arranging site visits.

She provides support to the ecologists in house and in field, whilst also dealing with  secretarial work dealing with a range of administrative tasks, such as accountancy work, appointments, and overseeing the planning of the company’s fieldwork diary.

Dave has 25+ years of experience in the heritage sector, both in the UK and abroad. He holds an MSc with distinction in Geoarchaeology and completed his Ph.D on Roman Butrint, southern Albania.
